Resource Hub

Because “check on your buddies” isn’t always enough.

This page is where we collect and organize vetted resources for veterans, spouses, and caregivers — crisis help, benefits navigation, mental health, and more.

Crisis & immediate support

If you or someone you love is in immediate crisis, please use these resources first before anything S.A.V.E.-related:

  • Veterans Crisis Line Dial 988 then press 1 • Text 838255 • Chat via the VA website • 24/7 confidential support.
  • Emergency Services (911) If you’re concerned about immediate harm, call 911.
  • Local ER / Hospital If you can safely travel, go directly to the nearest emergency room.
Disclaimer: S.A.V.E. is not a crisis line, therapist, or medical provider. Our work focuses on connection, events, and navigation — not emergency response.

Mental health & peer support

Not every veteran wants a clinical setting right away — and not everyone has access to it.

  • Vet Centers Community-based counseling for combat veterans and their families.
  • Support & Peer Groups Placeholder for trusted peer networks and community groups.
  • Online Communities Spaces where vets and spouses can connect between S.A.V.E. events.
